Le Pacha - Paris: Reviews & Ratings
We came here 2 times during our stay in Paris and loved both of them. The first time we had a hot chocolate and a gateaux and the second one an orange juice and a cocktail! Nice place, and good music! Cheers to the lady who served us the first time! If you are in the area give it go, its open till late!
The food here is so delicious and very reasonably priced for Paris. Between two people we shared a bottle of wine, each got french onion soup, and had a cheeseburger and steak as our respective mains and the total was under €70. The server was also really lovely and the atmosphere is great inside. Would definitely recommend!
Friendly service, delicious food, good coffee. We had a charming, quiet, and filling lunch while watching the street scene out the window. The duck confit made my day. The fried potatoes were a delicious compliment. A perfect meal! Note that I could not get them to accept foreign credit cards. We tried multiple banks and issuers across two cardholders, but the reader simply denied every transaction. It may have been a temporary situation but I would come prepared with cash if you're a tourist.

Nestled in the heart of Paris at 46 Rue de Tolbiac, Le Pacha offers a classic yet vibrant French bistro experience that captures the essence of authentic Parisian dining. This charming restaurant is a haven for those who appreciate traditional French cuisine served with warmth and simplicity. The cuisine strikes a perfect balance between hearty tradition and refined flavor, showcasing standout dishes like the succulent duck confit, which melts effortlessly with each bite, paired beautifully with crispy fried potatoes that elevate the entire plate.
Their carpaccio de boeuf and salade César provide lighter, fresh options that harmonize well with richer mains such as the entrecôte or the risotto con carne al jengibre, which introduces a subtle ginger twist adding depth to the dish. For those seeking comfort in a drink, the rich, velvety chocolat chaud and perfectly crafted cappuccino create an inviting sensory warmth, while cocktails and fresh juices brighten the mood.
Le Pacha’s dessert selection, including the crème brûlée vanille and gateaux chocolat, offers sweet conclusions that comfort and satisfy. The pruneaux au vin de Brouilly paired with oranges confites sorbet aux fruits de la passion combines bold flavors with seasonal freshness, showcasing the kitchen’s attention to detail and creativity.
The atmosphere is lively yet intimate, with friendly service that makes you feel like a local. Though the dining room occasionally echoes, this only adds to its authentic Parisian bistro charm. Pricing remains fair, a rarity in such a prime location, making it accessible for both casual lunches and leisurely dinners.
While some visitors have noted occasional issues with credit card acceptance, the overall experience is well worth carrying cash. Le Pacha’s combination of rich flavors, cozy ambiance, and approachable pricing makes it a must-visit spot to savor the true tastes of Paris.
